Turn your guided journal into an app readers write in

You can turn a guided journal into an app by uploading it to Truberri. Each prompt becomes a private space to write, readers use the free Truberri app on their phone or the web, and you see which prompts they answer and return to, never what they wrote.

    Updated

Made for prompts people return to

Guided journals live or die on whether people keep writing. On a phone, a PDF journal is a dead end. In Truberri every prompt is a place to write, ratings and checklists work with a tap, and entries are there next time the reader opens the book.

    How it works

    • Upload your manuscript as DOCX, PDF or EPUB. Your text is kept exactly as you wrote it.
    • Truberri's AI suggests which prompts become interactive: written reflections, short answers, single or multiple choice, ratings, yes/no questions and checklists. You check and confirm each one.
    • Share the book with access codes, links or QR codes, or sell it on the web at a price you set.
    • Readers answer in the free Truberri app on iPhone, Android or the web. Answers save on the device and sync when they're back online.
    • You see which questions readers answer, skip or return to, how they rate each section and where they stop.

Why privacy matters more for journals

Journal entries are personal. Truberri never shows an author an individual reader's answers. You see totals, such as how many readers answered a prompt, and on Author Pro short themes drawn from 5 or more answers, so you can improve the journal without reading anyone's diary.

    Private by default

    • Authors see patterns, not people: totals, percentages, averages and themes.
    • No summary of written answers appears until at least 5 readers have answered.
    • Readers own their answers and can see, edit, export and delete them.
    • Data is stored in the UK, never sold, and there are no ads.

    Questions, answered

Can readers keep their journal entries?
Yes. Readers own their answers and can see, edit, export (as PDF) and delete them at any time.
Can I see what my readers write?
No. You see patterns, not people. Themes from written answers appear only on Author Pro and only once at least 5 readers have answered.
Does it work for daily or dated journals?
Yes, as long as the journal is a book of prompts. Each prompt becomes a written reflection, rating, checklist or other question type that you confirm before publishing.
