    Who this applies to

Everyone who uses Truberri, and everything uploaded to it. It's part of our terms of service.

    Books you upload

Don't upload or publish a book that:

    • you don't own or have permission to publish
    • is illegal, or encourages illegal activity or self-harm
    • sexualises children in any way
    • contains sexually explicit material
    • attacks or demeans people for who they are, including their race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexuality, disability or age
    • harasses, threatens or shares private information about real people
    • gives dangerous medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional advice
    • contains malware, hidden links or anything designed to trick readers

    Questions you ask readers

Questions are for reflection and learning. Don't use them to:

    • ask for passwords, bank or card details, or ID numbers
    • collect contact details for marketing without telling readers clearly why
    • ask about health, religion, sexuality or other sensitive topics unless that is plainly what the book is about and readers can skip the question
    • pressure readers, especially children, into sharing more than they want to

    Readers' privacy

    • Don't try to work out who a reader is from totals, themes or timings.
    • If you run a cohort with identified responses, use answers only to teach or support the readers who agreed to share them. Don't publish them, sell them or use them for anything else.
    • Don't share access codes for a paid book publicly, or resell access.

    The service itself

    Don't

    • try to access another person's account, workspace or answers
    • probe, scan or test our security without written permission
    • scrape, copy or bulk-download books or data
    • get around plan limits, app restrictions or payment
    • share a login; invite people to your team instead
    • send spam or bulk messages through Truberri
    • overload the service or interfere with other people's use of it

Found a security problem? Thank you. Please email hello@truberri.com with the details and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else.

    Reporting a problem

To report a book, a question or someone's behaviour, email hello@truberri.com with a link or the book's title. If a child may be at risk, contact the police or your local safeguarding team first.

    What we do

We review reports quickly. Depending on what we find, we may ask for changes, unpublish a book, remove access, hold payouts linked to the breach, or suspend or close an account. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities. Where we can, we'll explain our decision and let you respond.
